Gettin from USA is not a gd chioce. as if u realised USA they are using NTSC system. Singapore using PAL system. They Do not Match together. As in DVD players n TV all these kinda of stuffs... Now the new model is even more fantastic. HF-S200.

720p/1080i is more than sufficient for most uses and faster to process

When you use a HD camcorder, you will need to factor in the need to have good hardware to process the files.

One other option would be the Sanyo Xacti HD2000, it's cheap and good in low light. The only problem with this camcorder is that it uses digital image stabilisation instead of optical stabilisation.

HD2000 is a good choice for budget, but don't get the Sanyo Xacti VPC-FH1. I tired the FH1, it doesn't perform as well as the HD2000
