On the whole, it looks just like a snapshot and nothing else. Why?
(1) The MBS is a bit distorted.
(2) The overall feel is a bit dim.
(3) The lights on the bottom left of picture is a distraction and serves no purpose to the look and feel. The same goes for the building on the bottom right.

Maybe perhaps you try cropping it and adjust the distortion to bring out the beauty of MBS.

hi thks for the advice ya the pic is too dim, i can improve on it plus i nid to crop it.=)

Bro, I think your timing was wrong. Night photography usually happens at dusk, instead of the 'real' night :) Hope it helps.

hi comments is your shot is over exposed and noisy maybe be u can try another settings.. that's all i can say coz im a newbie also..hehehe...

Bro...Night photography can also happen at night. It depends on your composition. People prefer dusk to represent night cos they want some sky detailing.

Agreed. A lot of people prefer dusk instead of full-on night darkness, but that doesn't mean a night photograph is a bad photograph.
My main critique of the photo is the cut-off reflections, and showing the "mess" of the construction. Have to wait another few months :)

My second attempt hopefully it is nt as bad as before although got flare in it..

The sands hotel tower is quite dark, underexposed maybe? Try to up exposure by one stop. There's distortion as well. Composition overall is better than the first photo imo. ;)

Even wider would be better. The cut-off reflections are a bit annoying.

For time being, personally i prefer taking photo of the MBS at dusk or dawn to "balance out"
the superbright construction lights. I agree with ZerocoolAstra, a few months later
would be better. After a few months, we could take better double helix bridge photo as well
without the annoying construction lights. :)
