Basically want to get a sense of the lenses being used by CSNAP RF users. Let me start with my 3 humble lenses - 2 pre-asph Summilux 50 F 1.4 and 1 summicron 35 F2 pre-asph Version IV

I think showing off a "collection" of any kind is haolian and showoff. It serves no purpose other than worshipping the collection of equipment. But collecting in its own right is a a legitimate hobby, although it has nothing to do with photography per se, so I would say there is nothing wrong to haolian about one's collection.

for a while I thought all equipment forums should be banned as there risk people 'unwittingly' post shots of their equipment and labelled as such inevitably whether or not they have any intention of 'showing off' or not. Then again, you've got a really wonderful and diplomatic reply, you're the man!

hey, I think showing off is fine. I love hao lian photographers. Such threads can educate new users on the different type of lenses, built, size comparison etc... and Leica lenses are so sexily built. Just show what you have lah. But I will prefer users to show lens plus 1 best picture taken with it. It'll be most helpful.

Summarits are actually really good lenses......they are not ASPH lenses, so you must get them too! :bsmilie:
