Just got my LX5 yesterday. Some test shots to share here:

my wife got here lx5 last sunday from hn warehouse sale, I got the chance to play with it and compare to my sony a700+20mm combo, the results were amazing, lx 5 is nearly as good as a dslr in night shot .

I thought for long exposure shot either cheap gear or 'Lux' gear almost produce same result? :think:
Notice the WB difference on both shots. Are you adjust the WB?

no,the same wb setting: tungsten

I'm looking to buy this camera also. If I'm using macro mode, can I still use digital zoom (so that I do not need to crop)? Any lx5 user has any experience?

Yes, you can use digital zoom in macro mode
