Playmemories apps

Wanted to buy but they only accept US credit cards...

There is a way to purchase the app. First you need to register account with country set to US.

Next go buy psn points from Amazon. com. You can use Singapore credit card, just need to fill in any US address, can find it online.

They will release the code immediately after payment. Reload the point into your account.

And you can purchaser all the app with the money you load into your account.

So you do not need to have a credit card register in US.

I purchased it in this way.

Or you can buy these cards. us[dot]playstation[dot]com/psn/psncards/
I think our local gameshops do carry them..

This the same method if want to create an US iTunes account.
Been looking around but not sure which card to purchase so thanks for the confirmation.

Btw, thought the system able to recognize base on our credit card number that it's not issued in US?

So the trick here is to get the psn points first?

Yes, the trick is to put this psn point as payment replacement into your Sony play memories account. They are link with the PSP account I think. I do not own one so I'm not sure.

The great thing is you can purchase it through Amazon. com that accept Singapore credit card, just need a US address.

So at least it works this way and we don't have to wait for Sony Singapore.

So enjoy your apps, it is very impressive, although a bit lag...

Great tip!!

I think the app is quite good! But AVI files are painful to work with on a mac though lol...

Would love to see some actual timelapse samples if bros here who downloaded the app could share...

Thought I read this on the forum, but cant seem to find it now..
How do you send the full resolution image to your phone/tablet using the remote controller app?

Edit: found it.. In the playmemories-> settings menu

Good tip but I forsee when and if the SG site becomes available, these apps will be gone and so is your money if you switch back the camera setting to local.

To switch back to local requires the camera to be resetted and all apps removed.

I want to use and play with time-lapse but since I've already owned an intervalometer, I'd DIY it to be wireless/IR type by getting a cheap wireless remote at ebay and put the rig together. I've done some post-processing using Magix Edit Pro before therefore that is my workflow for now.

Bought the time lapse app, having problems with the exposure. Its fixed and cant be changed for the whole duration.
Need to start and record again for scenes like sunset, sunrise where there's a lot of light changes,
Hope a update fixes this..

Here's a time lapse I took just now..

nice! Did u compile the video from the still pics? or use the in-build AVI file? I realize the AVI movie cannot exceed 41secs for 24p and 33 secs for 30p.... :(
