Popular has 3 Ring Binders that they call "3D Files", these will take sleeves with 3 holes. The binders are not the oversized types though, so you will have abt 1-2cm of sleeves sticking out at the sides width-wise.
no no , dun buy those. There's another type of files at popular, especially made for neg/slides. Cost $18 with some sheets inside.

Can you describe, or attach a photo of the 3-ring file for negatives?

it's just a normal looking file, with a broader width, so as to fit in the slevees.

The ideal product is a foldlock sleeve made of polyester, sold by Light Impressions and Talas. Its a sleeve open on the long end that allows the negative to be placed inside without sliding it in or out. Polyester as its the most inert transparent material available.

I buy them in bulk from Light Impressions. It works out to be about 21 cents per sleeve (each sleeve hold one strip of 6 frames, so sleeving one roll of cut film is about $1.20).

sorry, but where is light impressions? :dunno:
