congrats on your purchase... just wanted to know how do you test your camera there? i am also thinking bout getting a k100 super but not sure what to ask and how to test... perhaps you wanna share your experience?

This is how I choose:
1. Ask this Qns: "Is this the best price? Can lower or not?"
2. Look @ the exterior of the camera to make sure no marking or cosmetic defects
3. Scroll through the menu to look @ the functions and try them out.
4. Took a few shots and zoom in.
5. Switch from AF to MF to try again.
haha safest way is still to ask whether
1)the shop has a 7 or 14 day return policy?
2)quick tryout (take out and shoot around few pics, look for cosmetic defects)
3)clarify about warranty, in case a bad seller might trick u into buying a bad one and not including a warranty)
with warranty and return policy theres nothing to go wrong
