Right now DPM Heng is in China with Singapore 4G leaders, visiting various people to introduce themselves.
Today DPM Heng met Wang Qi Shan.
Obviously LHL cannot say anything bad about China in this Forbes Forum at this critical time. Fortunately he did not.
It is a question that would have been anticipated by LHL when invited to such a forum.
Such loaded questions are tricky.
Say the wrong thing and you get condemned.
Say the right thing and surprise - you also get condemned.
By people who choose to twist the answer and skew it to match their interpretation - and then demand an apology from you.
There are people like that in this world.
The HK violent riots have attracted opportunists who latch on to it, to further their own secret agenda and ulterior motives.
For example Denise Ho who is a Canadian citizen and a faded CMI (cannot make it) singer.
She went to the United Nations to make a speech purporting to represent Hong Kong's 7 million people who are China citizens.
After misusing the HK violent riots to gain media Visibility, Denise Ho is now earning money giving concert in New York.
Then there is Ted Cruz a CMI politician (cannot make it to be US president) who want to gain media coverage for himself.
And Josh Hawley a young senator who also wants to media attention.
Back in US, no one gives two hoots about these two opportunists. They seek the lime light.
Sure what they said has implication. But has he not said the true?
Violent is not the rule of law. It is killing HK in all aspects.
HK belongs to China.
