Nice pictures!
The water is so mirror flat!

Nice shots. Water is flat and a very nice and sharp reflection. I believe this is taken later in the night.

Wow very beautiful. Well done.

WOW!!! have not been there long time ago...all changed thanks for the update

Hand held....amazing :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

great still water reflections! not to mention the super steady lens/hand combo.

Its set to normal. :)

cool ... you must have really stable hands and good posture. :)
I just got my 1st proper camera not long ago...still practising how I can stablise the whole cam.:embrass:

the exposure are about 1/3 seconds only, not very long. :D

Wow! Amazingly steady hands... i'm still having loads of trouble with taking night shots without a tripod.

Beautiful & clear shot you have there!

It's rare to see the water so still.

x2...

never seen such calm waters at Clarke Quay

Nice, distinct pictures of this place which has been shot to death.

Thanks. I must be really lucky as this is the 2nd time i've encountered this kind of still water at clarke quay. :)

Hi guys!!!. Clarke Quay pics...the pictures posted are directly taken from my camera NO Photoshop editing done..taken "As Is"... Guess you have to be patient to let the waters calm down and make sure its high tide. Shot taken at aroung 1:30-2:00am.

i thk the reflections is photoshopped?

my guess, coz the reflection also reflected the background's building, where the building standing far from the river? impossible?

Taking a first look on the original pics that was posted on this thread made me say that it was the work of Adobe Photoshop.

To tell you my shot was "As Is" right out of the camera..NO PHOTOSHOP..well it's hard to believe but you really have to "wait" and "capture" the moment when the water is "mirror still" at Clarke Quay.

Just try to do it and believe for yourself. I wasn't a believer then, but when I took the shot..it's true!!! mirror reflection...no photoshop..taken as is... ;)

You need a tripod for such night shots. Set you Apreture high e.g F16 or even F22 if you have it to get that star burst effect. Then set a long exposure time like 4, 8, or even 16 seconds for that mirror effect !

It's dangerous! Try it, you will be addicted to colors of lights. =)
I know I was . =)
