U know wat? Alwayz find summicron's Bokeh smoother than Summilux's. but DOF on d pre Asph Summilux does give an interesting Bokeh character which was lost in d asph versions.
That said. Asph Summicron still maintain a very smooth Bokeh despite being super tack sharp on focuses subject. Quite a feat actually.
Funny thing is that d XF35/1.4 Asph Fujinon lens on d X-E1 is able what asph Summicron 35 does n better it at f/1.4. Interesting find after trying out these few lenses. Haha
yeah I also find the older Summircon (pre E55) 50mm better than the E55 not in terms of sharpness CA/PF but just the feel and looks and how it renders the image.... Yeah I was looking at the Fuji X35 f1.4 shoot out between the Lux-M 35 and I like the Fuji more than the Lux-35.
On the Lux-R 50 vs Summircron these two are different beastyeah bokeh is somewhat different from lux... but both lens I must say suck-up all the light really good sample of lux at very poor lighting condition some more the light source coming from behind.... no NR correction for this pix just correct the WB as most light coming from behind are bluish....
But I notice the lights are not rounded could be the lights are very far....

Soft focus area yes. Glow? Not really bro. Haha. Do u see glow at d highlight area?
dunnoe how to see it glow lolz...
U haf quite alot of coma on the light source there... typical Lux Pre ASPH property but strangely no glow on subject (especially on white or highlighted surface)? Hmm... Bro, did u use the R Lux 50 on the NEX 7 on this? D noise seems abit high and destroying some of the details...![]()
