You know you've ordered too many things online when a DHL guy shows up at your front door looking for you, and you pause to think.. "What exactly did I order..?"

It happened to me on Monday morning and then only after a few minutes of giving blank stares to the poor delivery boy, did I realize my Rokinon (a.k.a. Samyang/Pro-Optics/Wallimex/Vivitar/etc) 8mm f/2.8 fisheye that I ordered a while back during an Amazon Gold Deal had arrived... Had totally forgotten all about it...

Anyway, here's wat it looks like, mounted on a NEX-7...

This lens is wide.. wiiiiddddeeee... WIIIIIIDDDDDDEEEE~~~... My messy room...

Certain perspectives can make this look like a UWA... Even though this is a diagonal fishie...

Walked out to my balcony with the lens... I am still wearing my PJs at this point in time...

Try CornerFix in yr workflow during PP. n crop abit off yr elbow. Should look fine by then. Think other bros here can guide u more on PP as I never crop or PP my pics. LOL

hmmm strange the big brother of this lens Samyang 8mm f3.5 for A-mount seems to not suffer much of purple cast....

these to shots may not be good example as these taken during almost sunset

your NEX7 bro using the latest FW? not sure if the pruple cast was address with the latest firmware other than the Movie Record Button can not be deactivated in the settings...

Probably d diff in lens design for the A mount and E mount FE lenses from Samyang? The NEX 7 sensor is infamous for such issues espeically in using certain retro focus UWA lenses... even after firmware updates, still inevitable...

I was aiming for cv12 and cv15 I guess I will have to skip those lenses for now and just use my Tokina 11-16 (A-Mount) adnd Samyang FE (A-Mount) these lenses don't seem to have very obvious purple cast

I was aiming for cv12 and cv15 I guess I will have to skip those lenses for now and just use my Tokina 11-16 (A-Mount) adnd Samyang FE (A-Mount) these lenses don't seem to have very obvious purple cast

I'm using d CV15 on my X-E1. No magenta shift issue. But it does vignette quite abit if stopped down or use ND filters. It's awesome sharp though. Very good for landscape shooting.
