I was there playing with the X100S and X20 at the MSC booth.

U were? I din c u. Haha. I played wif d X100s. Took a shot using both focus peaking n split image focusing. Looked at d shot, shake head. Tried d same shot wif my X-E1, looked at d shot, grinning.

Final verdict. D lens on d X100s cannot match d XF35 nor d Summilux 35. Out of my wish list. Haha

The X100S' lens isn't great but I liked the split image MF assist, it's even better than peaking. The X100S' peaking isn't too useful coz you can't change the color.

Yeah... Sadly. U wun get to use the MF much on X100s anyway, the AF is fast. Fuji should implement these MF assists to X Pro 1 and X-E1...

At least they will reuse the code on their next X-mount bodies so it's not really a waste, they share the same platform anyway.

1. cron as there seemed to b a slight pop to d pic.
2. SEL as d pic seems flatter even though d Bokeh is ok.

Y not compare yr CV 35/1.2 ASPH 2 wif d SEL 35/1.8, both at f/1.8?

Gotta agree. Even showed some kinda pop but surprisingly d cron 50 pics seemed mediocrely flat.
