Will drop. Never say by how much leh. Look at M9 prices now. 5k can get one. A lot of ppl r waiting for d full launch of d new Leica M. U will see M8s and M9s drop further. Actually not a bad idea to grab a M8 if less than 1.8k. Bro Errz and Albertri and Wangzb. This price u guys definitely can stomach rite? M8 actually has better color rendition than d M9 but of coz d problem is u need d UV/IR cut filters on yr lenses.

bro I am even hearing that after a launch Leica price goes up as the supply is limited some buys and sell for profit :-(

Lenses yes. Buy Leica M n R lenses now. They will appreciate after the full launch of d M. Older Digital M8 n M9 prices will drop.

haha. guess i'm not really that into Leica or 100% manual guy.

$5k i can upgrade twice or more or even get mirrorless FF with AF. i prefer something more versatile.

can be manual, can af, can shoot with one hand, can shoot discreetly (touch focus shoot). I dont like to restrict myself just because of better IQ or DR. i miss the shot miss i miss the shot.

I'm carrying the baby and taking the shot.. how to do it with Leica ? :bsmilie: prefocus, then carry the baby then shoot? by then this expression would have long gone.

in short we those who shoot MF are "masochist" lolz.... But seriously speaking not all would like to do MF I too sometimes just want to point press the shutter button and let the cam do the focusing... To me using MF lens is more fun maybe I am "masochist" after all... I keep thinking those old school SLR or the olden days where's there no AF and yet they could take awesome shots even sport events... really salute those old timers those are the real photographers in my vocabulary

PS. Bro any baby or kids pictures and family pictures regardless of how bad you compose or your setting those are priceless... these picture are frozen moments of time
