noooooo!!!!!! there goes my dream of owning NEX FF :-( man more expensive than RX1 and that's just body only??? that's crazy they should make it attractive so folks would make a 2nd look at NEX, when it hits the shelves ppl will say "wow FF Mirrorless" when they check the price tag, most of them will say "oh never mind then" put down the NEX FF and walks away.

I don't think it makes sense to offer the system body version of the RX1 cheaper than the compact camera version itself. If you pair the FF NEX with the CZ kit lens I guess it will be about $6k (when it comes out at the end of 2014).

yeah but the RX1 has CZ35 f2.... the NEX FF if body only goes more than RX1 that's really expensive some more they are looking at 4000USD way more expensive than the A99 body which has SRP of 3899 SGD. NEX7 SRP was 1799 and A77 SRP was 1599 so based on this NEXFF would be 4099SGD maybe that's reasonable but 4KUSD that's crazy expensive

The price isn't determined by the real value of the item. The more expensive the better, it gives the product a better image. In the end sometimes you sell more if you increase the price. Some folks wouldn't consider it if the average Joe could afford it.

As long the quality and support is there why not but if quality so-so it will come back and bite their a$$e$. And they should ensure NEX FF will have made in Japan stamp if you put there made in Thailand or China and pricing to be high just to play psy-ops with your consumers wont fly high and far, now a days consumers are very intelligent cant just make things sound good and priced premium ppl will think it's top notch and top quality and exclusive... Only few had done it one of them was the iPhone from Apple....

Bro. It's an investment k. Get the right mindset and it will not seemed too expensive to you. It's a very unique lens. Out of production and the good copies are getting lesser each year. I'll let you test mine on your NEX 7 when we meet up. Cheers.

Yeah kinda like the R just not those huge bro TnTrue lenses those are pretty heavy and big. I'm cool with my 135, 90 and 50....

Was looking at the 135mm f/3.4 APO Telyt R, slightly above 1K SGD in eBay. Dunno how this lens perform?

Just get 135/f2.8 Elmarit it's sharp enough for me less than 1KSGD even here in BnS Ebay just be careful some may not be so accurate in the descriptions and also still might get asked to pay GST
