thx, to be honest, the 50mm is too narrow for indoor like the SEA aquarium.
but if you want to shoot the fish in detail, might be a good option.

BTW: my first picture in B/W was taken with a voigtlander 21/4, not the 50 Nokton. sorry about the mistake.

nice.

think i need a 50mm.

All this shot is at f1.5? iso?

I don't remember the exact aperture used for each picture. But for all the fish portraits, I stepped down to f2.8 to f4 and pumped up the ISO to get enough depth of focus. The highest ISO I used should be 1600. For exact ISO, can check each picture on my Flickr page.

Nice. One of d quite sought after CV lenses. Glad to see d results it produced. Good one u haf there.

thx! actually this is not the Japan made CV50 Nokton (I have a silver one as well). this is a Germany made Prominent Nokton. they have different mount types.
I got two copies previously and sold one copy to another bro in the B&S. now would keep this only copy for looooooooooong!

So its d original Voigtlander made lens. What mount is it btw?

yes, the original Voigtlander, about 50 years old. the mount is quite special:
the two versions I have are like the two on the left:

the adapter to convert it to L39 mount:

looks like Retina DKL mount yep these are original Germany made Voigtlander

Wondering if anyone is able to modify it to d M mount?

yes, there are some guys in China and US, who can kill a leica summarit 50/1.5 and modify the prominent to M mount. the charge is not cheap, not to mention the summarit..;p

Wondering if anyone is able to modify it to d M mount?

this is not the regular DKL mount, the DKL adapter will not work.
I once had a original voigtlander 35/f3.4 with DKL mount, I used it with a DKL-NEX adapter on my nex7.

if these are DKL you can buy adapter for your mirrorless :-)
