Thanks bro. Yeah processed it from LR raw to jpeg did some NR and just a touch or sharpness to compensate with the NR.

Woken up abruptly this "morning" (2.30pm to be precise, went to a friend's pub till late last night ;p) by the UPS delivery guy... My SLR Magic 35mm T/1.4 has arrived...

Pretty hefty lens at over 400g, versus the 18-55 kit lens at about 200g.. All-metal construction, very solid...

Look at the number of aperture blades on this baby... This is at T/8...

Will take some test shots in a while after I've brushed my teeth and washed my face... Eyes still half-open.. Or half-closed...

Traded in my old SLR Magic 35mm f/1.7 (the old "Fujian" CCTV lens) in a trade-in deal from HK that runs till end-Feb 2013... Didn't expect them to so quickly send out the new lens via UPS even though my trade-in lens is still going through SingPost registered mail to them... Currently there's an USD 90 trade-in rebate and a USD 70 manufacturer's rebate, and a top-up of USD 189 for the lens... Total USD 349 for this baby...

Took some quick shots at my living room coffee table, will see if I can bring this baby out for some test shots later when I go for a movie with my girl this evening... My girl will surely roll her eyes and go "camera again", and I'll say "Handbag again"...

Anyway I've digressed enough, some quick shots... All OOC JPEG (lazy to process on a sleepy Saturday "morning"), just resized...

I was actually wishing for the other version, the T0.95 35mm lens, but SLR Magic said it'll only be available for ordering earliest after Feb 2013 and no promises of whether there'll be a trade-in deal for that lens.. So i went ahead and ordered this to "play-play"...
