Finally got a chance to bring out the Telescope Lens hehe Kimunor 500mm f8.

Not a very contrasty lens out there and colors a bit pale but nothing LR couldn't fix. PF is there at high contrast area but not that bad. Photos are crop roughly 30% to remove some of the background as the Lens MFD is roughly 9-10Meters :cry:

I must have f**ked something in levels in PS because the OOC jpeg doesn't have such a lavender sky.

As I mentioned in a previous post, shooting straight at a gray sky does produce some magenta cast noticeable at 100% magnification, more annoying for its weird texture than for the degree of color shift. Look at the sky in any UWA lens and you'll notice differences from one side of the frame to the other.

If we spend our time looking for anomalies in digital images, we can surely find some. This lens has many positive things going for it--especially considering it's an UWA zoom.

yes, this nice little lens is great for use. only negative thing is the purple color fringe that is quite annoying. fortunately we have LR.

Creative controls set to Vivid, +1 saturation, 0 contrast, 0 sharpness. That's the way I like it.

I have not had a chance to use Rokkor 40 f1.4 lens yet only have the Minolta AF 50 f1.4.... The TS really hates his Rokkor so bad lolz
