Can tell me why I should get Nex 7 instead of OMD? The sales I talk to seem to be very Pro Sony.... kekeke. ... I am just worried about the selection of lenses and the costs of lenses.
For folks who think they need a fancy macro to do close-ups . . .
NEX-7 with CV 35mm f/1.2 II + 4mm generic helicoidal adapter:

This is the only lens wider than a 60mm macro I've ever seen that can resolve the crosshatches in the eyes frontwards. Nikon 28mm f/2.8 Ai-S can do it backwards (mounted on a reversing ring), but not frontwards.

Close-focusing WA lenses are particularly useful when you really need to deepen your plane of focus. Stop down an extra notch, back off a few more CM, and you get a slab instead of a sliver.

This is the most versatile 35mm I've ever had my hands on.
Both camera got their own strength... What are u looking for in the camera?
OMD have better noise control faster AF and more native lenses....
Nex7 have a bigger APSC sensor 24 megapixel, focus peaking, i like the tri navigation control.... but less native lenses as it is relatively new...
Will u be using manuel lenses or u prefer more native lenses?
Thanks bro... ya, both are good cam and have their own strength.... I am attracted by the larger sensor of Nex 7 but by the larger pool native lenses of the OMD.... dont think i am "skilful" enough or knowledgeable enough to go into manual lenses though.... both felt good in the hand... with OMD slightly heavier....

well then for this case maybe u can scroll through this thread n see some of the photo and the omd thread to see which one u like better? manuel is not hard with focus peaking...
Get the one where more of your friends has
Then you wont need to compare systems so often and you can focus on taking pictures together.
Either one system - make sure you start with a good kit. If you're not into Manual lenses yet, then keep that thought aside and try to maximize the system.
Roger that... will go read up more and test out somemore...
actually both camera produces very good photos.
