Yeah when I tried X-E1 the NEX-7 EVF and A77 is far more better kinda spoilt by Sony EVF :-) I am using VF2 on my EP3 and its not that bad just that you cant use it to view photos as the color is not that accurate compare to Sony EVF. My main issue with EP3 is the shutter lag when you press the shutter there's a light lag so when you try to take 2-3 fast shots manually it's hard normally I take two shots of a single composition just in case cant do that with EP3 even if you're in MF mode and you have are prefocus. Not so sure with EM-5 though :-)

A99 yeah I think would be awesome like my late A77 in terms of performance and feature but cant adapt much lenses other than you said M42 only :-(

Bro. U got too many things tat u want to buy. Dilemma ya? Haha.

Yeah true I have a Nikon ais lens before mounted on my A77 the Iq degrade is so bad I mainly use it with adaptor without glass (macro). Enjoy hope it turn out great.: -)

Lately been trying some macros as I have not shoot much macro as it's pain in the @$$ but since I have a lens I force my self to go out and have fun with it or should I say sufferings instead hehehe.

I crop most of the pix from 40-70% this is due to I have a short range macro lens can come too close to most of these bugs.

Here's some noob attempt I cant do what bro TNTrue could do but I'll try :-)

I think I pissed this Spider off as I am invading his turf

Gotta love that spider! I think the ones with the John Lennon sunglasses just like to look at the camera.

Bro, what lens did you use for those shots? And did you use flash?

I find it difficult to get enough shutter speed with depth in natural light with my 100mm because it's so nose-heavy. That was the beauty of the a77 with a 60mm macro: could one-hand the camera while steadying the subject with the other. And the onboard flash was high enough that I didn't get direct reflections back into the lens.

Thanks bro this critter is very small and always kinda stare at you or the cam, man glad I am using NEX-7 and very light MD-Mount Vivitar Auto 55mm f2.8 Macro lens this lens is nice just that the 1:1 you need to be very very close to the subject. All these bro are hand held all natural lighting just pulled the shadow in LR to expose some dark areas, my aperture is between f8-f11 ISO depending from lowest I saw was like 320 all the way to 1600 just to keep the shutter speed fast enough for my shaky hands.

After shooting for two days with this setup my right arm is kinda sore.. cant imagine using A77 plus some long focal range mom-AF lens hehehe

few more :-)

Never thought this small flower would have such details

Just saw this while shooting kinda interesting

I think this is f11 close or 1:1 and yet the DOF still very thin :-(

moon shoot not the sharpest I've taken last time my A77 has more details than this guess my setting with NEX-7 was not optimized....
