I like the purple fringing. Other than that it looks okay at ISO800 and 2k. The shadows could be a bit less grainy.

On d whole, d ISO performance is really good at that kinda levels. No more M pics liao. Only able to test shot abit nia. D purple fringing is evident rite? It shouldnt be there if paired with the latest APO Summicron 50/2.0 lens though, FLE still present some forms of purple fringing which still can be removed via LR or Aperture. I din manage to take sample pics at ISO200 though...

This are some features of the new camera:
- New 24 Megapixel APS-C sensor with 1/2 stop improvement and increased dynamic range
- 3, 8 Million dot EVF
- touchscreen
- Hybrid Contrast and Phase Detection AF
- Tri Navi design reviewed
- Focus Peaking will be much improved with choice of colors
- Wifi, but no GPS on board.
- Same size and form factor of the current NEX-7 but with a minor redesign

Me too! Otherwise I rather use a DSLR. CDAF only makes sense with a touch screen for me.

Hey not bad are these wide open shots? this is much better than photobucket looking at the max res in flickr looks sharp to me nice lens but I'll stick to R for now lolz....

hey sometimes touch screen is nice sometimes I hate it hehehe like EP3 when I forget to disable it and sling the cam or over the neck it automatically take picture everytime it touches my shirt or part of my body :-(good to have for specially scenarios sometimes irritating

To me yeah it's cool to have touch screen specially viewing pictures hope it multi gesture like pinch to zoom or swipe lolz

Yes.... All wide open @ f/1.4. ISO is 800. Speed is around 1/180. OOC Jpegs. I used both the Focus Peaking and Rangefinder OVF split image focusing on these shots. It is really sharp to me on the original photos...

slightly upgraded NEX7 the only great I see is the PDAF + CDAF this will help in the focusing department EVF is somewhat a welcome upgrade also... I wonder about peaking improvement...

Sony seems to be following the iPhone the way to upgrade their NEX
