I am using the Kit Lens, 18 - 55 mm.

Manual Mode, Aperture F13, Shutter Speed 20 sec, ISO 100. I am using a tripod with 10 second self timer.

any bro having issue of delayed auto focus when continue to shoot moving object? i am not talking about F1 speed, but shooting kids running and jumping, is NEX 7 able to quickly re-focus? thanks!

R U using Shutter Priority mode? Mine seems ok when using this mode for shooting moving objects...
 

I havent got it yet, not sure should nex 5 or 7...
 

I've checked, so far, Cathay is cheaper, is it true? Any other shop cheaper then them, anyway, Cathay no stk now, while yday still have..

if you want the NEX-7, you need to buy it straight away when you find it. it's selling too fast and stocks can't keep up

MENU >> [Camera] >> [Autofocus Mode] >> desired mode >> Continuous AF
The camera continues to focus while the shutter button is pressed
and held halfway down. Use this when the subject is in motion.

last time i just choose A priority, now have to set either clear, vivid, neutral bla bla bla....so which one you guys used as standard?? too much option also not good..:)

it is right, i got a set from Harvey, and only M walk have 1, so i quickly grabed it.

if shoot jpeg only,
if you do Post Processing on the color, Neutral will be best as it kept most details.
if you just use the out of camera image, Standard is fine. Vivid gives vibrant color but sometimes it gets too unreal.

If you shoot Raw+jpeg,
then any will be fine. You still can play with raw file using more powerful computer.

Yah ! ...if you set the eye-detect AF feature on and the camera senses your chest.
