kennail - did u use face-det? first pic guy's face like not v clear..and looks like iso800?

I set face detection on but seems for most pics it didnt activate(the face detection square didnt appear during focusing) and I was using ISO 400 only

I thought the people near the sides of photos will be distorted (due to wide angle lens effect). Most of my photos have this problem, which I don't see in your photos. Do you crop your photos or are they straight from camera? Which aspect ratio do you set?

Hi everyone! First post here.. am a proud owner of LX3 for a day so far! (just got it this afternoon haha)

Had to get this after looking at all the beautiful pictures taken by this camera in this thread!! XD

Just to post a couple of test shots taken today. Except for resizing and adjusting the brightness a little (still figuring out the manual functions in the cam, hence some shots turned out darker than i expected ^^; ), photo is pretty much jpeg straight out of the camera!

Am really awed by the clarity of the pictures! (sharpness set to 0)

the distortion is only visible when the person is located at the extreme sides of the photo
