yes this is one small little wonder. if u don't feel like bringing your dslr for shoots the LX3 is the perfect substitute

best thing i like about this cam are the different scene modes to give the shots a different feel

shengliang: Thanks =)
This picture was shot raw and processed using Photomatix HDR for tone mapping.
One thing to note about doing such processing is that unlike DSLR files, LX3 raws are alot more delicate and that if you push them hard (like in this case) noise begins to show quickly.
In this image I had to strike a balance between dramatic and noisiness. Actually, it's a blend of two different renderings in HDR. One for the mountains and trees (low setting) and one for the skies (higher setting).

WingZero: Thanks! This picture was a lucky shot. I had a hotel room with a view of Kuala Lumpur. The shot was taken in RAW too. 60 seconds at f/2.8 was just enough to capture everything without blowing out the Petronas towers. I had to hang the camera out of the window (those windows only open abit) and shoot from the window ledge, using the window panes to hold the camera in place. Quite scary, but thank goodness for the neckstrap.

Cheers
