After viewing almost 65 pages of LX3 photos, I'm surprised no one has mentioned about the outstanding Dynamic BW mode native in LX3. I've been a RAW guy for years, but with LX3, I actually use the Dynamic BW JPEGs directly from the camera without any post-processing:

In my opinion, this is probably the best feature of the camera, notwithstanding the f/2.0 lens, 24mm WA and 16:9 ratio (which is another superb feature not found on other cameras, not even SLRs).

Would like to share my pics taken at Fullerton Merlion Park last week.
All are using manual settings, no PP, just resize or crop.

Nice pics! Why is it that all the lights have a diagonal look to it? Are you using any filters? I noticed that the exposure times are all quite long, but that would normally just a give starry look in all 4-6 directions instead of it just being diagonal?

Set your dial to "A" mode and set to the largest aperture, say f2.0
