Picture from EOS M

AFAIK, no.

I have an M2 too. It's a lovely camera.

Thanks for the confirmation. Yes, the M2 is a great camera. I got it last Friday and was enjoying shooting with it on Sat morning with the stock 18-55 lens. Unfortunately, the battery did not last long. I will have to get a additional battery. Any 3rd party batteries to recommend? The original cost around $65 and I am not sure whether I should get original or 3rd party.

I believe buying the original battery is better. Because 3rd party ones drain out faster in the later stage. Worse still, they bulge out n might jam inside the camera's battery compartment, making difficult to remove it.

Thanks, mostly likely will go for the original as per you recommendations. For screen protector, if I use one of those glass type such as Larmor GGS, will it affect or lose the sensitivity on the touch screen? Will be trying some of my 70-200 and 300 EF lenses on the M2 shortly. This is really a great "compact" camera. Should have bought earlier :)

Not too sure about the glass screen protector for camera but the one i bought for my iPhone5 works fine.

beautiful pix... I just ordered a M2..lol

I personally encountered the batt lasting only 1/2 day ..... need additional batt for sure.

For $300, this M2 is a no brainer purchase... beautiful pix.;p

Bought an additional third party LPE12 battery from Unicell International at 2nd floor Sim Lim Square for $21. Warranty is 30 days. Used it during a recent holiday trip to Taiwan and feel that the battery can last probably 80% to 90% of the original battery. Not bad for the price.
