Picture from EOS M

Despite the heavy rain for the pass few days. the evening sun never fails to give us amazing lights. A photo taken on monday evening.

Was the sunset photo taken with a yellow filter?

Very well done!

Would you mind providing EXIF data for this photo? Thanks. :)

I think EF/EF-S lenses with adapter will drain the battery more compare to EF-M lenses but I'm not sure coz most of the time i use EF lenses on this little camera.

Oh you mean "EFM" lenses?
If yes, meaning you use the EF-M 22 and the 18-55?

Ic.. Then how long the battery last with EF lens? That's the question I'm interested :)

With EF lenses 1 battery last around 200 shots only

Oic.. Not bad still.. currently they have free battery offer ...

I tried out the EOSM at vivocity.
I was amazed (maybe I'm just too easily amaze? LOL) by the ability of "touch-focus-shoot away" ability..

I have not had a chance to read the manual, just want to know, beside using this 'touch focus' is there other way to focus subject like using a DSLR?
I tried on walking subject, it is slightly slow, maybe i need to be more familiar with this camera..

You can activate continue focus which mean the camera will actively focusing without press any button but i this function will drain battery.

Focus tracking with EOS M will be difficult because the AF a bit slow

sharing some more photo using eos m

I drove pass this place along the highway in the morning and was amazed by the lights.
I told myself i will shot it one day. So when i saw a beautiful morning sky a few weeks later, i prepared and pre-focus my camera.
And jus snap away when i drove passed the area.

thanks! :) sorry for the late reply. too much back log to clear.

No i did't use any filter. just open my veh window and shoot. So no time for setup. Always kept my EOS M with me.

the EXIF as follows EOS M, Efm 22mm, ISO 100, f16, 1/50, raw, AWB.

thanks for the heads up, also bought the Kit 3 set yesterday with very nice freebies. the AF is really slow but acceptable for my style of shooting. the IQ is excellent, as can also be seen from the nice photos posted here.

Just got my kit3 this afternoon :) I think the AF is ok for me.

Haven't really test this "little cam" yet, so don't know about the IQ but from what ballan post on the micro shot..it is really good.

But I did a quick test on off cam HIgh speed syn with my Youngnuo 568 and FLII 500 strobe...and it work :) Syn all the way to 1/4000. Still can't find the flash command in the cam manual to pre-set the flash power..or I have miss it ? Will try it tonight.

This coming Sunday, will bring this cam along for my High Fashion mass TF shoot. By than, I can do a comparison to the 5D3 on IQ :)

Thanks keyuan :) BTW, any bros here test the EOS M with MF lens, such as Samyang..it doesn't work for my Samyang 14mm, even I select MF on the manu. I can't take any shot, the cam just hang there ...when I switch to Canon EF lens, it back to normal.
I think the EOS M can't recognize MF lens ( without AF chip) ??

U must set in function. Release shutter without lens

thanks keyuan, very nice pics!

it's pictures like yours that have convinced me that the M is a great camera. the slowness of the AF is just a minor inconvenience for me, and most of the time it works just fine.

by the way has anyone tried the Sigma 10-20mm on the M with the adapter? it could be an option i'm considering for wide landscape shots.
