Before you decide to send for calibration, perhaps you may want to check with the seller what camera is he using with the lens initially. Perhaps it is perfectly calibrated and it may be due to your adapter?

when u go there.. dont kena posion by those Artisan&Artists straps. :bsmilie:

You will see a lot of nice Artisan&Artists straps, half cases as he is also an authorised dealer for A&A products. He also carries his own soft release button for rangefinder camera and other digital camera (not for Sony Nex), such as Fuji X100.

Haha.. I saw all that.. Din miss any... Played wif the M8 which was from d HK guy who tried to sell me the Ultron 28-2.0... Seriously, dun like d experience... N he sold off all his 35mm Leica lenses to only use an M mount Canon 35mm f1.2 lens, which is so petite and cute... LOL

Will not add more as will get OOT again, as to me, a rangefinder is a completely different experience and skillset in every shots you take. You can't blame the AF anymore if your shots are out of focus, as any out of focus shots are your fault since it is completely manual!

Yeah. Sticking to NEX 7. Not an RF cam fan. RF lenses r awesome though.

anyway,

for better focus peaking. can try this settings

must shoot RAW
1. Select - B&W mode
2. Edit the options of B&W to set Contrast +3 Sharpness +3
4. Set peaking color to yellow
5. Set peaking level to max
got the settings from here

when i test . i do see a bit of difference in the focus peaking shown on the screen. u can try it.

using Black & White - easier to see the focus peaking colour.
