Photozone: Most current NEX lenses are not good enough for the NEX-7!

No stock already. new stocks coming in 2-3 weeks.

The Novoflex authorised dealer is at Peninsula Plaza, the shop beside Cathay Photo (Shop name is Prime Camera, #01-15). That shop sells mainly used Leica lenses, and they have really nice collections of great lenses!

The price is $280. If you are a little tight in budget, Voigtlander one is at $250, and you can get it from Chiif cameras which is 5 mins walk from there.

So fast? Must be due to the poison created by this thread....

I got d 19mm. It's a very good e mount lens for NEX. 30mm is easier walk around. But dun expect very creamy Bokeh like wat kei1309 had posted.

yup. remember, the sigma is a "made-for-e mount" lens. the voigtlander is a "made-for-M mount" lens, fixed on with an adaptor

Did u use focus peaking n zoom in to focus well? Can b sharper than this if u did. Bokeh is worth its reputation.

seems like it was shot at an angle that didn't allow that.

The cv 35mm F1.2 really heavy sia. Not sure if I want to get one

heading out with my poison later. hopefully i'll get more images :p

It is indeed heavier than many other 35mm lenses such as Zeiss 35mm Biogon f2 or f2.8.

This is the only complaint I have on this lens, as it feels bulky even on my heavy M9P, not to mention the Nex 7 body.

But the weight is a result of the good glasses inside to make it a really useful f1.2 speed. It is a lot heavier than their classic 35mm f1.4 model, which is half the size and weigh a lot less.

Sometimes I wonder if Voigtlander could make a 35mm f1.4 SC or MC model so small, can't they make this f1.2 lens just as small? Guess the major improvement in IQ from the f1.2 lens will require a very different formula than the smaller f1.4 model?

It will be great if Sony or Zeiss could create a 35mm f1.2 or f1.4 just like the Fuji 35mm f1.4 on the X-Pro1 body. It is so small and light with AF but yet super sharp with smooth bokeh, even at F1.4.
