Photoshop (UW Photography) Course by Nova19

Date: 21st and 23rd May 2005 (Sat and Mon)
Venue: YCK CC (TBA on meeting pt)
Time: Sat 2pm - 7pm (may extend, so bring some food to munch first)
Monday 10am - 6pm (there will be an assistant instructor)

Brief course outlines (not in order):
1. Intro to interface, tools (esp the wonderful stamp tool), palettes (actions, layers)
2. Lighting and contrast enhancements, colour correction (blue waters)
3. Area selection methods, pathing
4. Colour modes
5. Layer modes, effects (How to get that polaroid white frame with drop shadow?)
6. Colour replacement

Laptops: reccomended for all students to bring
Software (PS): if you have, pref ver 7.0 and later
Power point extensions: bring your own just in case
Projector: Nova19

Food/drinks: among the students

sehsuan - maybe for makan, if i'm early enough i will try to tar-pao some fingerfoodtype, diver feed. not food for divers, but food ingested by divers, only to "feed the fish underwater" :bsmilie:

i'm very sorry folks - i woke up at 1pm today, with the impression it was 2pm to 7pm today. went to a volunteer program yesterday for morning, then went to document the opera at ubin last night.

ah gong is sincerely apologetic about this. next round UWCS SEED, drinks on me! (non alcoholic hor, safety first....)

Thanks for the workshop and arranging the venue. It was a great and well organised workshop, and has already given me more confidence to venture into the world of PS. Hope to see you guys soon, and to the diving gang, have more fun diving trips and capture more great photos..
