clouds is so thick.. by the way, what focal length is required?
my widest is 28mm on 35 compatible..

It depends. I see some using longer lenses to get compressed composition. 28mm is tight for an entire scene.

Here's mine.....

First shot of the morning at 0643hrs. The blue streak lasted for about 15-20mins I think, just after the drizzle stopped.

The rain clouds started to disperse then. Ambient light remained flat and uncontrasty at 0703hrs. I under exposed by 2 stops for this one, retaining the details in the sky but not to the extend of losing the details in the buildings though.

Then the sun started hitting the buildings at 0728hrs. Like I was saying to some of you guys, the different orientation and location of the buildings means that they reflected the light at different angles. A simpler tone presentation can add depth to the photo.

Looks like a D3 + PC-E 24mm from the gear shot.

I used a 14-24mm for all 3 shots. Never use filters. The PC-E 24mm will be pretty tight from where I was standing. You get something like this with a 24mm.
