Hi

I'm doing a little survey which software is more popular.

Please share why you like about it and which main editing software you are using such as PS, LR or Aperture, etc.

This survey would make like minded people to see the pros and cons before purchasing it.

If you have found great software which is not in the list, please do share. ;)

Thank you taking part of the survey.

Cheers

Lightroom. Logical organization, one click upload to FB and Flickr, excellent tool set, one click lens correction for most Nikon lenses across all photos, flexible B&W rendering, stable, convenient link to PS for major corrections, e.g. Focus stacking and HDR stacking.

Bad points: can be a little slow with huge raw files, EXPENSIVE!!

For travel I use Filterstorm Pro on iPad. Good feature set, convenience, flexible B&W rendering, layers, reasonable price.

Bad points: a little slow, quirky interface, upload to Flickr crashes often.

Edit: I was originally reading this on my iPad and missed out that it is asking for _PLUGINS_. Sorry if I OT your thread.

No problem at all. :)

I use topaz plugins a lot .... Especially Topaz adjust and Topaz B&W

Cheap and good

Using the entire NikSoftware Suite in Photoshop

I generally start with noise reduction ( depending on iso etc) processed to color efex ( tonal contrast, detail extractor, ink, curves, film effects, darken lighten centre..etc) then silver efex, followed by sharpening.

Alienware - Exposure

I use it for the direct conversion to film look

I use Topaz Adjust. Mostly if I am blending single exposure shots with HDR's It helps to 'normalise' the images and helps with blending.
