Looking for a freelance photographer with the necessary skills and experience to back up our Chingay 2012 coverage team. Prospective photographers are required to have the following
- Prior experience in covering parades/performances
- Professional level equipment (5Dmk2 minimum with corresponding lenses)
- Strong post-editing and colour correction skills required
- Ability to comprehend and execute project brief
- Ability to caption, edit and transmit images on-site
- Ability to follow captioning guidelines
- Top 20 in 2 hours, 100% transmission within 24 hours
Tentative Schedule
7th Jan - 3hrs
1st Feb - 2hrs
3rd Feb - 2hrs
4th Feb- 2hrs
Payment
- Photographer to be paid $80/hour for shooting with no additional payment for time spent on post-processing
- Payment will be made within 60 days of the project completion
- Do take note that this assignment is on a "Work for Hire" basis and photographers would be required to sign away all rights to the images
Portfolio Review
Please prepare a low-res portfolio package containing no more than 12 images for the client's review and approval, based on the portfolio template which can be viewed below. All packages are to arrive in PDF format no bigger than 3MB, saved at "Medium" setting. We would highly recommend you select images from parades(e.g NDP, YOG Opening Ceremony, Chingay), ethnic performances/backgrounds or human interest shots involving motion and water for your package.
