Hi I am looking for a photographer (preferably a professional) urgently to speak to a cohort of secondary school students (about 400) and some teachers in the school hall on 29 Jul and 05 Aug (TUESDAY) from 1.00pm to 2.00pm (1 hour each session).
The topic would mainly be stuff on how to take good pictures, the various methods, how to critique and appreciate, anything that can be covered in total 2 hrs etc. We can show good photographs and explain too.
We could also talk about career prospect, or even history of photography. The photographer could share his/her experience and in the mean time show his/her various works done. As we are giving a talk and doing a presentation, the photographer would need to prepare a presentation slide show to be screened together with the talk. The school most likely would want the presentation so that they could print it for their students for reference.
The purpose is to give this group of secondary students some information/knowledge of photography and maybe hopefully could ignite their interest. We also hope that they would learn a trick or two on how to shoot good photos, even with a simple digital point and shoot camera and maybe to avoid some common mistakes.
I have worked with a photographer when we had the same talk for a previous batch of students last year. All went well and the school wanted a talk again this year. In fact the talk was supposed to start 4 days back on Tuesday (22 Jul) but he was hospitalised on the actual day itself (his assistant sms my colleague using his mobile on that very day morning as I was away overseas and I just returned this morning). The school was nice to postpone the talk till next Tuesday. As of now I am not able to reach the photographer and I hope he is alright.
As such I am desperately in need to find a replacement. This would be a paid service. I would appreciate it if there are photographers would are available and have the time to do this talk to please PM me.
Do provide some information about yourself and your experience as well as the rate you would be charging per hour. I would then arrangement to meet up most likely tomorrow (Sunday) so that we could both have a better picture. Thanks.
