I am a fellow volunteer for bukit panjang CC and the committee is looking for a volunteer for photography during the 25th July 2015.
Background:
Bukit Panjang CC Youth Executive Committee (BPCCYEC) will be organising a food donation drive call FoodNotes@Bukit Panjang this coming July. This project aims to benefit a large number of needy residents in Bukit Panjang Area with dry and non perishable food items. All items will be donated by fellow residents in Bukit Panjang. Volunteers will be going door to door to collect dry and non perishable food items such as rice, oil and canned food on 25th July 2015, Saturday.
Purpose:
The objectives for the FoodNotes @ Bukit Panjang are as follows:
-To extend a helping hand to the less fortunate in the Bukit Panjang Area
-To instil a sense of youth volunteerism
-To provide a platform for all volunteers to interact and work together towards a meaningful cause
-To create an awareness about the youth movement among the students and volunteers
Requirements:
Photographer is required to be around with the volunteers from 9am-5pm taking pictures of the youths in service as they deliver the food items from door to door.
Document the process of collection to delivery of the food items.
group photographs might be required.
Renumeration:
-Token Fee of $80
-Meals provided for lunch and dinner
-DSLR provided for the day of shoot
-Training provided if you have very little photograph background.
Notes:
We understand that the token fee is far from the usual rates of photography services provided. But we hope to seek for you understanding as it is purely a community project with non-profit intentions.
If you have little photography background and will like to give this a shot, we are very grateful that you can help as we provide you guidance.If you are a professional but you wished to help out for volunteerism-sake, we want to thank you in advance for your offer to help too=)
