photobookmart.com problems


simplecamera, don't be too happy, not sure if we are getting it at all.

Tempted to stomp down to their shop, or maybe let the police investigate.

Pissed off totally! They don't even answer the phones or emails!

Some guys answered my call last week, telling me that it will take around 4 weeks to get my album done. Seriously, I dont mind the price as compared to how much effort I have put in for the whole album!!! Im also quite upset when I saw this thread and wanted to go down to the shop for enquiry!!!! Anyone with latest updates?

YES, I have the same problem with this company!! I ordered mine over a month, still no news (before they got your money they promised you 5-7 days!), and they never give you any concrete answer about ANYTHING you ask.. This is my sickest online buying experience ever. This guy named Jason is a shitty dick-head, someone should teach him what is customer service! I paid RM200+ for a shitty experience, Photobookmart, PLEASE NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I had encountered some issues with them too. Ordered my photobook and the expected 1-2 weeks of delivery became a month. It was only after I called them few times and was told that there had some printing problems and my book was one of the affected and need to reprint; hence the delay.

When it was delivered to me, my ordered slip case was not in the package and I have to call again; only was told that the slip case was out of stock. Fortunately, the cost of that slip case was reversed promptly.
 

Waiting for my last book to arrive. Will never order from them ever again.
 

Been waiting for 6 weeks. Tracking order doesn't work, no reply when i emailed, and they can't even be certain whethe mny photobook has been printed when i called. Definitely my last photobook with them.
 

I waited for 3 weeks, received on 24/12/11. Maybe you can go down to their shop to clarify?

I just received my photobook 2 days ago!
It's about a month late but hey... it's of good quality.
Think they really had some prob in manpower issues...
I hope all of you get urs soon too...

the delay sounds like they outsource all their photobook printing and making to some country like China or Vietnam.
 

Does anyone know how to claim the Deal.com.sg voucher for photobookmart? I finished the book but then came to the end there were no instructions for vouchers users from Deal.com.sg. I entered my voucher number but said it didn't exist.

Help, anyone?

sorry, abit of typo earlier. I think i will wait for them to resolve the uploading issue before deciding if i want to go ahead with making the full payment.
 

My book arrived on Friday... Good worksmanship on their albums, but what a disappointment on their customer service.
 

I've submitted two orders on Tuesday. They are very responsive especially when you encounter into problems uploading the files and making payment for the order but once the order is submitted and paid, they cannot be bothered to answer any other queries from then!!!!

I have received both albums vis DHL yesterday! This is just 7 days after submitting my order online. Extremely pleased with the quality. Will be posting up some pics of the album later.

Yup.. their quality is good... but the whole experience is let down by their CS... :(
 

I'm not sure why there's so much unhappiness. Or maybe i'm just lucky. I've ordered two books from them. Both came one week after I paid online. Very happy with quality and service. Give them a chance. They seem to be the only online photobook service of decent quality. We should support them and help growth their business. If everyone avoids them, they'll close down and I'll have no where else to go to print my photobooks. I'm ready to send them my 3rd book this week. To avoid worrying about whether they'll deliver your books after collecting money, I send one book at a time.

I'm happy so far.

First post as a compliment isnt very concrete, sorry for being honest.. Free trade will restore balance of who should stay in business.
