Hi guys just want to check if anyone have printed their book with this company called PhotoBook? They have an international website and claims to print for alot of country.

Have downloaded their software and the ease of use attracted me to order from them, have placed my order on 15 Jan 2009, and have yet to received any album from them althought they claim to deliver it between 5-7 working days.

Have emailed them twice with no response and their so called live support is always offline.

A link to their website for reference http://www.photobooksingapore.com

Please help me as I am lost at their credibility and at wits end as I had made payment and customer is pissed with the delay. Wondering whether to reprint with another supplier or wait. :thumbsd:

Hi there, sorry to hear of your unfortunate encounter. I've personally printed with photobook singapore, and got my book in 3-4 days time couriered from Malaysia. If I'm not wrong, the company is based in Malaysia. Perhaps you might want to email their support department? I've got a prompt reply the last time I printed with them. I remember they emailed me telling me my book was printed and also provided me with a courier tracking number.

Hi thanks for your reply, when was the last order placed with them?

Thanks in advance. :)

I did also order from them last November and also got my book within 4 working days.

However book that came had some printing problem i tried calling and also emailing them also no reply.

i ordered a book from them about a year ago. No problems what so ever. They do have a Singapore number which u can call. I remembered liasing with some staff from SG. However, the book is delivered from Malaysia.

Tho I had to chase them quite abit, the book came within 7 days.

confirm not a scam, but yrs is taking a little while longer...email the malaysia site ba, should get prompt reply(unless both is the same email add...)

my 3 prints with them have been pleasant...(photobook malaysia that is...but they are all the same company like wad was mentioned earlier)

Hi Mark,

I also used Photobook in January just before CNY. I had some issues uploading the book, though there was no bandwidth problems from my side. However, once that was done, I got the book within 7 days and it came out quite nice.

The support staff were pretty prompt in writing back when I had a couple of questions.

I have done 2 books with them too, over the past year. Smooth without any issues.

thanks everyone for the reply. Have just email thru the malaysia website hope to get an answer real soon, ;)

Don't mind me saying.... I find that the title of the thread can be quite damaging for the company. It is actually not very fair to the company to pose such question on the title.

Well, at least the TS has put a "?" at the end of his sentence. It now becomes a question rather than a statement.

Agreed.

nevertheless it is a question, would TS or anyone like to see a thread:

is "Put your name here" a Cheater?

To TS, AFAIK, this company is Malaysia base, and you place your order during CNY period, do expect delay due to high volume orders and shortage of manpower, almost every trades will have similar issue for fulfilling orders at this time..

Hi guys, I am sorry if my title post a threat to the credibility of PhotoBook. Will immediately close this thread after I recieved any form of response from the Malaysia website.

Need to be abit fair to me as I have not recieved any form of assurance even though had made payment and email several times, and the online help desk is always not online.

I understand that CNY is a busi period for all trades. But today is already the 6 Feb and had placed order on 15 Jan. Way too long for peak period dont you think?

Anyways the thread can justify itself the credibility of the company, from fellow clubsnaps.

I am just posting this to gather any form of info as I am really really desperate.

Thanks for your understanding guys.

maybe u should use more reliable album makers in future if these albums are for professional work.

you can look at album stories, photo hub or glorywork etc...most of the wedding photographers uses them

they have have a shop front and i'm sure their quality is much better than photobook which i've seen for myself.

1st you give your clients a better quality album
2nd you wun run into problems like that
3rd you'll meet your deadline.

no one said being professional is easy...hope you'll get your album soon and learn your lesson

Guys photobook has improved alot recently. Their album quality has improved alot, now they have more option when you upload the albums..eg..leather cover- paper quality....3 or 4 ink printing n much more. I print with them regularly.

They also provide excellent customer care service(Malaysia). All printing are done in Malaysia.

Cool..

Hi guys, managed to contact the malaysia via phone, and have verified that their album is still in their print shop. Well guys the title was my scam. ;)

Will close this thread and let me confirm again PhotoBook Singapore is not a scam. TY.
