I reside along Bendemeer Road. Only ten minutes walk to Potong Pasir MRT and from there, 4 minutes train to Serangoon station. Would be great if I could get a ride from there!

In that case, that low tide at 6.24am seem kind of "useless" since we r not allow to enter so early

The tide take time to come in... From 0700 - 0900, we will still able to 'shoot' low tide. Those who stay late, may 'shoot' high tide scene.

You will 'shoot' low tide scene with the sun coming up soon.. :thumbsup: ;p Then at 1000am where the sun is up there, insects and reptiles are coming out for 'sun tan'... ALSL GOOD !

hey Trigger, Thanks for the ride offer...

The visit is on 5 JUNE 2004, as early as 0700am.
Birds: mostly garden birds, young migratory birds.
Insects: too many to name them
Reptile: Monitor lizard... :nono:
Flower: Too many to name them :thumbsup:
Scenery: You find them ..

If you are not shooting birds, MARCO and normal zoom will do the 'shoot'. :bigeyes:

Do not be worried over nothing to shoot in Sungei Buloh.
In the morning, we might want to tackle macro subjects and
the low tide wetlands before the sun comes out, By 0830hrs,
we might want to tentative stop for a break.

From 8.45am, if you all are agreeable, I could lead you folks to
the prawn farms where the rangers will be performing a live
demo of the traditional prawn farming process. This demo is
done only once in every quarter and is an eye-opener for us
folks living in high rise bricks and stone buildings.

Along the way there, we will also come arcoss a natural lily
pond where we can normally find monitor lizards basking....

If you want to go for prawn pond, be prepare to get MOZZZIIiiiieee :sweatsm: :sweat: ..
Bring SAF insect repellent if you hv one. :thumbsup: :bigeyes: :bsmilie:

as for what we are shooting... depends on what u wan to shoot. if u wan shoot birds, den u can shoot birds... if u wanna go macro den bring macro lens... i dun hav zoom lens, and i dun hav marcro lens... so i go there den can see what i can shoot... :embrass:
