Photo sharing thread from GR :)

Chip your photos are really wonderful. Wish I can be like you, but I realised that I cant do landscape.
Thanks Felix for the nice words! Try different type of photography to see which one attract you the most or even to suit your different mood, lor! Eveyone has a unique "view" that's why we all can learn from, right?

The beauty of GR is that I can carry it everywhere. This photo is shot at Pattaya in the morning before one of my very stressful meeting! Kind of relax view trying to be balanced! It turned out quite good! :)

Problem with Singapore's cityscape for me, are the millions of distractions that gets in a frame that I like/compose; lamppost, signboard, neon lights, traffic lights, etc..

Quite sian coz I'm only interested in taking a clean shot of a building..

An example would be just like your previous shot.. That stupid lamppost have to jut out on the left.. LoL!

To me that lamp is not bad at all. We cannot change the scene that we capture but we can always find an angle so that the composition could make it balanced! That's how I try to do for most of my shots!

From my point of view, if there is no other thing around the building, there' nothing much to show the environment that the buliding belongs to!

That's true too.. Hehe! I guess it all boils down to individuality. Different eye, different style but in the end, we compromise to appreciate each other's vision.. :D

PS: don't take it to mean that I am trying to critic your photo ah..

Still my go-to camera when I cannot afford "space" in my bag ...

ND in-camera switch on, but I didn't opt for a longer exposure. Just appreciate the light ...

Very nice image.. where is this place?

Top left meaning the blue sky there?

Wow nice, the Fuji Klasse W! Naturally that is kind of expected from someone who also hearts the GR!
