interesting picture.
waisj, did u also selectively whiten the shrimp? somehow it looks like it used colgate-whitening more than the things on the whip. any idea why?

and looking back at your #1, #2, #3 (no offence to hamsom model), i think your recent post much better. colours more impactful.

Selective sharpening, but not selective colgating.... :D
Come ot think of it, it is a bit white......

Which one of these works for you?

Personally, i prefer #5a as the shallow DOF makes the pygmy standout from the background of seafans. The pygmy also looks cuter in #5a. :D

But both are outstanding shots... well done Waisj!!

For photo #4, i wld have preferred the shrimp to be against a blue background (to isolate and direct attention to the subject) so the top-down angle may not do justice to the beautiful shrimp. A side/angled shot may be better?? Also, the out-of-focus sea whips on the right side is a bit distracting - a tighter crop may help.

both got their draw. #5a as kng said, much cuter. with a difference. the little one looks like he's peeping out and slowly appearing. makes me want to hug...
#5b a bit usual shot and so almost common shot

Thanks for all the critical replies guys..............
I Love it here.!!!!!:D

Here's another one with comical value. a Threesome
Pleaes do not ask me how they got together, as i do not know. Deemed pretty cute :D

HOLY COW!!!

of wat luck u can c 3 nudi together?? having some SEED or wat? :dunno:

and salute to the pic taker... for capturing such interesting sight..

but in term of composition.. it looks a bit crampy....

if the chromodoris tinctoria (correct?) is a bit further away.. it will lookas though its going to invade the bullockis pair intimate moments.. :D

the dunno wat thing in the forground oso seems distracting....

somehow #5a feels slightly better =)

Well if you go to Nudi Falls, you'll have Nudibranchs falling down from the sky.... i mean sea.. .. what ever.... It is the first site i stayed under for 81 minutes and the second time there yielded 135 shots on a single dive.

Well according to Bill Rudman and Coleman, it is a Chromodoris tinctoria but according to Helmut Debelius it is Chromodoris Tintarta/Reticulata.... anyway ......
:dunno:

yeah the piece of coral sooo distracting... i had alot of shots ruined by either a stray piece of coral or some really fine sea grass.... couldn't see it with naked eyes though while photographing.

Since there hasn't been any photo-sharing with regards to demon stingers, i'll start. :)

loved the pygmy! took those after I left? looks like the stacking of macro lens works for you. I haven't gotten any decent shot on the pygmies for this trip. Well there is always next time....

thanks mate. it was nudi falls. There were pygmys everywhere. I Basically gave up shooting pygmys. Untill this one came along and it was really docile and stayed put for shots.

Thanks for the lens.

:D next time......
