Bought the X-E1 with the 60mm when I was in Japan and totally loved this lens. It was just too bad that the aperture ring malfunctioned and I was losing 1/3 stops of the largest apertures every day (seemed like there was a problem with the contact with the aperture ring not being totally in contact one part of the lens). Went back to the shop for an exchange and their only other copy only worked from f4 onwards! Thankfully the staff gave me a full refund. Hopefully I'll be able to reunite with this lens soon!
Motherland under attack by the Indonesian Haze Machines lead by commander Agung Laksono. Its time to take up arms against the machines! Could have done a less sloppy photoshop editing but not enough time to do a perfect job. Photo taken at Peirce Reservoir using XE1 and 55-200mm Zoom Lens. Of course it does not do any justice to the excellent XE1, Enjoy.

Sharing some of my shots from Hong Kong with the XE-1 + XF35mm.
I have been using this combo for almost 8 months now, and am very satisfied with it.
As a medium/large-format film enthusiast, the XE-1's AF is plenty fast for me.
Colour rendition and resolution is excellent. I have printed A0 size with no issues.
Most importantly, I really enjoy shooting with this combo.
It is both an intuitive and engaging camera to work with.
I personally feel that the XE-1 will suffice until an affordable FF compact is released in a year or three.
The Hong Kong as we remember, with charming old buildings and roadside stores.
The Hong Kong as it is, with the shiny shrine of Apple and hordes of folks queuing for a bite.
Char siew rice from the Cafe de Coral. It is the most amazing fast food franchise. It is cheap, good and quick. I could eat there everyday.
