Hi Everyone! Finally managed to get to the Dog Pound Wreck last weekend to check it out. Quite an interesting site that I think many of us will enjoy. I didn't expect the macro life to be so prolific. We spent the whole 2 days diving on the wreck and still didn't have enough of it. Hoping to go back there to dive again soon. Enjoy the images! :)

Housing borrow from Greg ?

Is this your first time shooting digital SLR ? How is it different from film ? without ttl ?

nice..... more images to come? any shots on toad fish? there are quite a few there, apart those scorpion fishes... ;o)

This is the 2nd time I've borrowed his housing.

The difference between film is that I get to preview the pictures and if I can't get the housing into a little hole, I can try different angles without worrying about running out of film. That's the biggest advantage.

Of course, the quality is still not as good as slide but if not shooting for competition, it is very acceptable.

As for no TTL, not a real problem because even on film, I use manual strobe and camera settings so TTL is not vital for me. Most of my exposures on this trip are either 1/2 or 1 stop off from my own mental calculations anyway so it was quite pleasant shooting DSLR and not having to go down to the developers this week to drop my film off, then pick them up etc etc..

Some of the other divers in the group spotted toad fish (i think) but i only came across the scorpion fish.
