those are without flash , arent they ?
I wonder how it works if the flash AF beam is on?
I tried once , in a dark room, relying just on AF beam to focus, it sigma went to infinity
But the shot was fired

oh, all the shot are without flash... unless I need to shoot around f4 onwards then I will mount flash... so far the flash work normal and quite the same as with original lenses...

The price top up abit can get a sigma 30mm f1.4

sigh..becos of this, i was put off a little to getting it, but now u r like tempting me w these really nice pics...it seems to be an all rounder lens!

I got a Sigma 30mm f1.4 before.... use it on my 30D... find it a bit too tight as it is about 48mm lens on a crop sensor camera. very nice lense I must say... I sold it away and eventually I bought a Sigma 20mm f1.8 to use on a 30D. the lens become a 32mm all rounder lens. then I upgrade to full frame and the Sigma 20mm f1.8 is on my 5D all the time.... it seem vignette at wide open... I like the effect as I'm a lomo shooter too...

can see from the second picture is the P&G camera. I often trade and buy camera equipments from this shop too.. keep the images coming from this wonderful lens

Mmmm....i thought this lens was discontinued??? Or it's another version? I had one and it's soft all the way until F4 onwards then it gets real sharp....but it suffers badly from lens flare...here's a sample:

Looks quite a bit of flare here and there... but still looks ok to me...

Yup...EX DG Aspherical but lens was sold quite a while back as i couldn't accept the softness wide open....($450). I googled thru and many had said that there's alot of "lemons" ard for this model. If you managed to get a sharp one then it's a damn good pc of glass

yep, that's why you got to test a few copy before buying... this lens is famous for softness at 1.8... mine quite ok... reasonable sharp... at f2 the sharpness improve alot..

All picture are shot with ISO 1600 because of the poor lighting I have to set this high...All the shutter speed is between 1/8s to 1/30s and without flash

Just a gathering at a friend's hostel... they got a cool and nice chill out / hang out area at the roof top ... where you can have your drinks and BBQ up there...

Bath Tub, where all the booze, wine and drinks are put into with icy cool water ...
