Ya have to pre order. And all sigma lenses got a substantial price hike last year. The 20/1.8 is now priced around 880.

I've tried an older version and it has problems doing matrix metering with newer bodies. This has been widely reported. Only way to fix this is to send it into sigmaSC to get it re-chipped. If it is out of warranty, you will have to pay for it.

In the end I went for a new sigma 24/1.8
