Just a note for those who are using FZ10: Your camera will not be able to use the remote shuttle...opppssss....remote shutter control.

FZ10 does not have the interface, a.k.a. hole to plug/poke/insert the remote shutter control.

The RS is useful. Last Sat, I missed the airplane overlap Sun shot. Coz I used 2s timer! With RS, can just click click click anytime. Can half press some more. It saves time!!!

FZ5: You will need to read up more, think the Lumixers here are extremely patient with your questions so far, since most of the questions are very, very fundamental.
