Pet: Rocky the Rabbit

Hey Kaixiang, thanks for viewing and taking time to post comments. :) Appreciate that.
I think dogs would be more easier to post... just that my rabbit is a combination of old+lazy so he don't move much nowadays. :)

** BTW, I'm not using lightbox. It's just a table with mahjong paper and white wall.

Haha. I have to wait a few more years before my dog becomes easy to pose and I can so imagine him trying to eat the mahjong paper. I have a light tent lying around so it would be convenient. Maybe I should start borrowing pets. I'm sure the owner will like to have nice photos too. ;)

The last rabbit I shoot with (Anna's BunBun) was running around like crazy... knocking down toys and my reflector and stuff... took 30minutes before he hyperventilate and sat still... I guess patience is very important. Same here, also on a lookout for other people's pet to shoot. Right, BunBun?

*sniff sniff lick lick* huh? what?

Currently running out of conceptual ideas... so posting some old photos...

Awww what a cute bun bun! And he poses so well... I doubt my own furballs will stay still for me to pose them.

Thanks for the reply. Actually its due to old age so he can't move as fast as he used to half a decade ago. :)

Really like your rabbit series. I had mine for 5 - 6 years. Found it while i was cycling along the road.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Joe,

Thanks for viewing. You should practice and take pix of your bunny too. Mine is now 8 years old.. so I probably got 1-2 years left with him.

Thanks.. you should take more photos for your loppy too. Thinking of moving into people photo but unlike rabbits, I need to pay extra for people and makeup. Dried vegetable tidbits just doesn't work on models. :P

Wow.. my first 2 Siamese ND buns - Siggy and Zakky are now at 7 years of age but they still look like babies... that's what I love about them. But these 2 are very skittish and hates to be handled.. Can only take their photos when they are sprawled over their play pen.

My other ND Hei Hei is hard to photo cos he's black.. very hard to focus haha. Only left my furry Mao Mao haha..

Black is also nice... but must not use direct lighting (think hair). I would probably use window light or side-lighting. And some aluminum foil on other side to make the contrast more soft and Hei Hei less intimidating. Focus on the nose or put some "props" next to him. ALso use small aperture to make photo sharp and less worry on depth of field. :)

Here's a portrait for Hei Hei - pardon the perspective.. I was shooting upside down haha
