Depends on which outlet. They have 1 in Perth City, 1 in Subiaco, 1 in Fremantle.
Can't assume it's the town one, depending on where the accomodation has been booked, etc.
edit: sorry, they even have another one quite near to the airport, though it's not at the terminal building, and it's a bit "ulu"

Just went to their site, pity the biggest car in their fleet is our equivalent of the Altis.
Will be travelling with Wife, 2 in-laws and 2 kids, that makes 6! 
So toyota tarango mpv definitely it is for me! Where is a good place to stay in freo? South or North? I'm looking at 2 bedroom beach -side apartment to fit my family.

Day 4: Margaret River (apartment unknown) - Caves, leewin lighthouse, Agusta
Day 5: Albany - enroute to stop and see Walpole, Denmark
Day 6: Albany - Blowhole, Gap, Wind farm
Day 7: Perth City- via albany highway
Day 8: Perth City - shop, last minute
Day 9: am flight to SG

Day 3 can consider staying somewhere between Perth and Margaret River, maybe Bunbury (interesting small lighthouse) or Busselton.
Although the journey (Perth to Margaret River) isn't actually that long, it gives you some extra time to catch sunsets or whatever along the way. You have a total of 9 days. Quite sufficient time. I did almost the same journey (incl r&r in perth) in my 8day trip
In my accomodation search, I found Perth options much more plentiful than Freo. Since they're so near, can consider staying in Perth instead.

Where is a gd place to stay in Margaret River, to be used as a base to launch trips to Augusta, Leeuwin, the Caves etc?
I was thinking of staying off the beaten track like somewhere in Gnarabup Beach, but then again, it may be too far off.
Anybody stayed in Margaret River Resort before? Is it along the main belt?

Tip: Summer in Australia (anywhere) = flies, flies and more bloody flies, mosquitoes too.
The solution, go to ANY supermarket like a Coles or Woolworths and get a can of Aerogard which is a highly effeceint insect repellant. Toss can away before flying home. It's also available at most IGA's in West Australia and many chemists stock it too.
I remember the flies are very stupid when I was in Melbourne during summer '04.. They're not as alert as the our flies, and I slap them with my hands..
Agree they were stupid... Those houseflies are different from what we see in this region which only go for food. Those in AU attacked faces particularly areas around the mouth. :sweat:

Someone should invent a gadget that attracts them in large numbers and kills them. Mass extermination!
I was having such a hard time trying to photograph at Greens Pool, Denmark. i must have killed 40 with my hands, and there were at least another 500.
They kept buzzing near my ears, eyes, mouth... consequently I didn't have as much time to nail the shot as I would've liked.

It was done years ago, it's a bluish light with a high voltage killing screen, runs off the mains and kills insects such as flies, mosquitoes, moths and other flying nasties. Cost is under $70 for a medium sized unit for a persons back garden. With a voltage inverter they can be made portable for use at camp sites etc. They go under a variety of names such as "bug zappers" "insect zappers" etc.
IF YOU ARE HERE IN SUMMER - GET SOME AEROGARD or other insect repellant. It's available at most supermarkets, better corner stores and even some service stations (fuel stations).

Someone mentioned a surcharge for foreign (non-Aussie) driver's license... Strange, because I was not charged anything more than the rental, and I've got a Singapore license (like most of you here). I took the A$5/day GPS (Satellite Navigation), but didn't really find it useful until back in Perth. Entering the city at night was a little challenging - and the rain certainly didn't help. I was there mid-September.
