Permanent IR conversion for DSLR

Wah... really tempting... got only one DSLR body... really wonder I should convert it... question, do I need to calibrate the lens too? or I can use any lens that I already have and use it for my normal photoshoot?

nope.. no need to calibrate the lens..
The modified camera could use any lens, but would get best result with lens which was used to adjust the focus point

Don't know if anyone have done mod for Panasonic prosumers. But there's a guy who modded his Canon G2 prosumer.

Can...I have my G2 done...but its different filter set from DSLR....prosumer camera still need to used IR filter like R72 or Cokin 007, but the good point is, you can use it as per normal color camera

Hi... as can be seen in the links on the first page..
colors in v3 are more muted whereas colors in v5 are brighter n more yellow..

For those interested to modify their DSLR to IR permanently, we can
share cost to bring Harlim (IR Modificator) from indonesia to either Batam or Singapore
to help us with the modification.
