Jason, have a question, if say for instance, the IS mechanism of your 70-200 L IS failed during the rental period, is the hirer responsible for it?? or are your lenses coverd by insurance?? Also, how do you check then lens and camera when we return to you?

He is a very reasonable man. If equipment failure is due to wear and tear you will not have to bear cost. Just read the rental agreement first it should all be clear what to do if the equipment dies on you.

Raptor 84, thanks for answering the query on my behalf. You are right. Basically if it is due to wear and tear, the person renting the equipment will not need to pay for the damage.
