Try shooting with the 50mm or the 18-55mm lenses. Should work as my friend uses his Kx with 18-55 to shoot his toy bears which he sews.

For toy photography, I believe a macro lens is not a must, maybe not just yet..

Rather, close focus along with perspective control is the most flexible way to go for you.

Go read up on the Sigma Contemporary 17-70/2.8-4... Beautiful and most suitable lens for your interest..

i am wondering.is there like this cheat macro adapter thingy where by you can attach to any lens and it can macro focus?
