Pentax 67 - need help!

Hi i just bought a pentax 67 over ebay. I bought a new batt frm unicell in sim lim and installed in my camera. The battery check light on the top left of the camera doesnt light up. I tried to load in a 120mm film but to no avail to. Any advice?
Since im new to medium format, any repair shop that you want to recommend me?

Sorry to hear that but seems like a common eBay problem. Never buy any old cameras from eBay.

Take a walk around peninsula plaza and ask those old camera shops to help you diagnose or quote a price for your repair. Pentax 67 (unlike hasselblad) may not be that easy / cost effective for repairs.

P67 1 or 2? Which battery did you install?

I had a similar problem when I bought my 4LR44 from unicell for my Pentax 6x7. Was a little bit in a panic mode when things didn't work.

In the end found out that that the battery are not providing enough Voltage. Brought the batteries back to the shop on the same day and exchange for ones with enough voltage.

Do note some of the batteries on the shelves does not have enough voltage. Not sure if your 67 Is affected by the same problem but do let us know how you solve it.

To confirm battery voltage get a cheap digital multimeter like unitrend (unit)/others and measure.If less than 1.5V it means battery is already on the shelf too long (self discharge).Fresh battery normally measure more than 1.5V- 6V.
Look at expiry date if any on package or battery.
